Open Task Manager
Click on File --> New Task
Type explorer.exe and click Ok
Navigate to My Computer
Open the C:\ Drive
Open Program Files
Open Thinix
Open Thinix Touch
Scroll down and find the file called ShellRepair or ShellRepair.exe
If this file does not exist, follow the instructions under option 2.
Double click and run that file.
This will change the shell back to regular Windows and log you off. When you log back in it will be back to normal.
Reboot your computer
Log in as the user that is having problems
On the 'Thinix Touch 6 RC' window that opens, click Evaluate Thinix Touch 6 RC
If the ‘Thinix Touch 6 RC’ window does not open, follow the instructions under option 2B
When Thinix Touch 6 loads, in the lower left hand corner is a Log Off/Shutdown button
Click the Log Off/Shutdown button.
On the menu that opens, click the Return to Windows bar.
This will change the shell back to regular Windows and log you off. When you log back in it will be back to normal.

Double click and run that file.
On the 'Thinix Touch 6 RC' window that opens, click Evaluate Thinix Touch 6 RC
When Thinix Touch 6 loads, in the lower left hand corner is a Log Off/Shutdown button.
Click the Log Off/Shutdown button.
On the menu that opens, click the Return to Windows bar.
This will change the shell back to regular Windows and log you off. When you log back in it will be back to normal.
This situation may occur with the use of disk protection software such as Microsoft SteadyState, Deepfreeze, Enhanced Write Filter, File Based Write Filter, etc. This situation could also potentially occur if Thinix Touch 6 is uninstalled while running or crashes and then is uninstalled. You will need to manually change the registry to set Explorer back to the shell.
Open Task Manager
Click on File --> New Task
Type regedit.exe and click Ok
Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Expand Software
Expand Microsoft
Expand Windows NT
Expand CurrentVersion
Click on Winlogon
On the right side of the screen, double click Shell and type Explorer.exe, then click Ok.
If Shell doesn’t exist, right click in the right side, choose NewàString Value. Then type Shell as the name, double click and type Explorer.exe for the value, and click Ok.
On the right side of the screen, double click AutoRestartShell and type 1, then click Ok.
If AutoRestartShell doesn’t exist, right click in the right side, choose New àD-Word. Then type AutoRestartShell as the name, double click and type 1 for the value, and click Ok.
Now restart your computer and you will be back in the regular windows shell.
If upon switching into immersive mode, you have decided to uninstall then you should proceed with the following steps if the previous steps have not worked.
You will need to re-install the latest version of Thinix Touch, available from: http://thinixtouch.com/download
Proceed to open task manager and navigate to C:\Program Files\Thinix\Thinix Touch
Open ThinixTouchConfig.exe
Click ‘Immersive’ – it will proceed to log you off, Log back in.
On the Thinix Touch trial screen, click Evaluate.
On the home screen, click on File Manager.
Again, navigate to C:\Program Files\Thinix\Thinix Touch and Open ThinixTouchConfig.exe
Now click ‘Application’ – it will proceed to log you off, Log back in.
On the Thinix Touch trial screen, click Evaluate.
Now in the lower left hand corner click ‘Logoff / Shutdown’, and choose the Option: Return to Windows.
This will close Thinix Touch and place you back into a regular Windows shell.
NOTE: This issue has been resolved in the latest release of Thinix Touch
