Thinix Touch™ User Interface
Thinix Touch™ is a user interface which replaces the normal Windows user interface, making the computer easier to use, and restricting the end-user's ability to run unauthorized software applications. This functionality can be used on various touchscreen computer systems to provide guests with a simple user interface for their software applications.
Thinix Touch™ includes integrated touchscreen capabilities, making the user interface perfect for use in touchscreen applications. Thinix Touch™ is designed to be 'Touch Friendly' so that computers can be used completely without a keyboard or mouse, if necessary.
For a variety of reasons, including usability problems, numerous MCA initiatives have resulted in hospital store rooms being filled with expensive hardware and software that goes unused. In order to ensure a successful implementation of an MCA rollout, it is essential to ensure that the staff using the MCA devices are able to easily and efficiently use the devices.
Thinix Touch meets the need of modern medical facilities to help enable successful deployment of MCA devices.

Thinix Touch™ is a touch-optimized user interface that enables form-factor displays to be completely finger-driven, working with a system's integrated infrared touch or direct touch screen. Touchscreen computers are being offered by several companies, but their user interfaces typically do not allow the user to operate the computer using the touchscreen.
Users can easily browse the Internet, access applications, play games, or input data with the simple touch of a finger, or input text with the integrated onscreen keyboard.

Thinix TouchTools™ is a configurable finger navigable menu system for MCA devices that allow users to quickly and simply have access to functions, hotkeys, mini-applications and shortcuts to make their job easier. Thinix TouchTools, as well as the Thinix Touch Keyboard, is included in Thinix Touch for MCA Devices.
Thinix TouchTools™ allows you to control any application, or the computer itself, by linking your 'Touch' (buttons) to 'Tools' and groups of tools (Toolboxes) created to do specific things. For example, we could have a toolbox to control Internet Explorer, one containing medical shorthand or drug names, or one to control the lighting or blinds on an entire floor of a hospital. TouchTools allows you to simply Touch a button and do something which would normally require several mouse clicks or typing, or running down the hallway.
We are really excited about TouchTools. There is quite simply nothing like it in the world, and the extensible framework of TouchTools will allow companies and network administrators to create TouchTools and Toolboxes to do things never before possible with a single tap of the finger.

Thinix has developed several applications for Thinix Touch for MCA Devices to increase the functionality of the MCA.
Thinix TouchKeyboard™ is a configurable keyboard that, when activated, slides up from the bottom of the screen while simultaneously adjusting the work area of the active application to the correct dimensions.
Thinix ScreenClean™ is one of the mini-applications developed for Thinix Touch for MCA Devices. When activated, Thinix ScreenClean locks the screen to allow for disinfection.
Thinix QuickLock™ is a single touch to lock the screen of the MCA, and place the MCA in a low power state, yet leave all the users applications running. The user will be required to enter a pin-code to use the MCA upon resuming operation. This saves time, improves security and dramatically extends battery life.
