The Thinix TS-990i G2 integrated computer system has been specifically designed and optimized for business, government, and manufacturing facilities. The new upgraded version of the TS-990i G2 now offers a 1GB RAM System Memory, and 2GB DOM Flash Memory to enhance usage and reliability for guests.

The integrated design of this system allows it to be easily placed in office rooms and eliminates the need for a traditional bulky tower computer and much of the associated cabling because the entire computer is built into the LCD monitor.

The included software and Thinix™ operating system allow your staff and guests to surf the Internet, chat with friends who use MSN or Yahoo instant messenger, check their email, play games, and create & edit Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint files using ThinkFree Office3. The bottom line is that having a Thinix computer in your office improves the guest experience and will directly correlate to increased RevPAR and ADR in your property. This will also help build brand loyalty and retain valuable customers.

Enhanced security features make the new TS-990i G2 the definitive choice for public use computing applications. Our Thinix uOS™ technology protects the computer and makes it impossible to install key loggers. The now-standard 'Secure Chassis' option adds a rear panel key-lock which makes this system immune to all hardware based key loggers, keeping guests' personal information safe. A Kensington Lock slot is also now a standard feature. By adding a Kensington lock cable, the unit can be secured to the desk or wall to prevent theft.

Built in Stateful Packet Inspection Firewall makes Thinix immune to hackers.
Hardened Security Disposition
All unnecessary services are disabled by default, reducing the attack surface of the Thinix machine and improving resistance to security vulnerabilities.
Thinix uOS™
Thinix is architected to be secure. This makes the computer immune to Windows Viruses & Spyware because no software can be installed by end users. All the user’s confidential information is erased after every reboot.

Support for Wired 10/100 Ethernet using TCP/IP. Support for Wireless Ethernet using 802.11b/g is possible using optional wireless adaptor.

Integrated System Restore
Thinix machines can be easily recovered to their factory-shipped configuration by using a built-in restore utility.

Integrated screensaver images
Thinix includes a screensaver system that allows you to set background images that are played as screensaver images when the system is idle. This can be used for promotion or advertising within the office.

Installed Applications
Firefox Browser & Plugins
Firefox 1.5 allows users to surf the Internet, check web-based email, view and print web pages and pictures. Integrated XINE plugins allow users to watch movies and listen to audio. XPDF is integrated which allows users to view and print .pdf files. Flash support is provided by integrated Macromedia/Adobe flash player. Support for Java applications is provided by integrated Java 1.5.8

Universal Instant Messaging
Allows instant messaging with AOL, MSN, or Yahoo instant messaging users using GAIM Instant Messenger.
ThinkFree Office3
Open, edit and create Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint formatted files using ThinkFree Desktop office productivity suite.
Users may also save office documents to their portable USB storage (thumb drive) or upload them to the Internet.
Citrix Client
Allows guests to connect to Citrix™ servers at their office or also use Citrix GoToMyPC to connect to their home or office PC.
Powerful Remote Connection Capabilities
Thinix combines the power of remote connectivity to many server types, your users can connect to their business or home networks. Supported Protocols include: Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), Linux NoMachine, Linux XDMCP, VNC, SSH and Telnet.
Games
Several arcade type games are pre-installed and users can play a variety of Java based Internet games.
Thinix Utilities Included
Calculator, Notepad, File Browser, VOIP Softphone, Thinix Diagnostics & Management Utilities are preinstalled.
